G.O.A.L. MODELING 101: 5 Steps to Getting Optimistic About Life (Week 1)

If you are anything like I USED to be, you know that you are unhappy with how your life is going at this point.  You have a job, but you are not passionate about it.  You have a family, but you know that you can use a little help with being a better wife and mother.  You watch recordings of Oprah's LifeClass EVERYDAY, hoping to hear your "Aha Moment", but it doesn't happen.  You join every online community in hopes of connecting with someone who will tell you what your purpose is, how to live in that purpose, and how to get paid while doing it! You spend countless hours googling, reading e-books, and participating in all kinds of webinars, just to find yourself back at square one: unmotivated and unhappy.  I know that is how you feel because I have felt the same way!  So now that you are back at square one, WHAT NOW??  Over the next 5 weeks,  I will share with you five steps that I used to G.O.A.L. (Get Optimistic About Life).

Step 1: FIND AN ACCOUNTABILITY PARNTER

Your accountability partner should be someone who is NOT afraid to keep it real with you!  Your partner should offer support, encouragement, and a swift kick in the butt if you start falling off your route.  You should sit down with your partner to discuss exactly what it is that you want to accomplish and allow them to hold you accountable for doing so.  Discuss how the accountability will be tracked (daily or weekly emails, texts, etc.). MAKE A COMMITMENT TO GET SERIOUS AND START DOING WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE! Do you think you can handle having someone hold you accountable?
